Project Avatar
First Person Puzzle Escape Room
August 2024 - May 2025
Avatar Project is a year-long capstone developed by our team, Janus Creations, for CGT 411 and 412, in collaboration with our client, OptoSigma. In the fall semester (CGT 411), we focused on team formation, project ideation, and creating thorough design and technical documentation. The spring semester (CGT 412) was dedicated to development, where we brought our plans to life in Unreal Engine. The result is a first-person puzzle escape room experience, designed to showcase OptoSigma’s products in an interactive and engaging way. This project reflects our commitment to client-focused design, collaboration, and problem-solving across a full development cycle.

Played a key role in curating and contributing to the Game Design Document (GDD) and overall game system architecture
Delegated scripting tasks to team members to ensure balanced workload and efficient development
Maintained consistent and professional communication with our client, OptoSigma, to gather feedback and align the project with their goals
